| Blood-drool.. Eww did vampire sucked blood from my gum last night!? |
It was my first ever experience of "serious" dental treatment. Uwww
I only prayed to Allah to keep me calm in whatever I do if it will bring me closer to Allah, ask for His guidance and alhamdulillah everything went smoothly! Yeay
The needle was a little hurt, it was really minor that I don't consider it as pain. It's like having a fish's bone planted (?) in your gum..if you ever experienced it. BUT the pain with fish's bone remains until you took it off, meanwhile with the anaesthetic purposed needle, the pain will disappear slowly, yeah definitely cause that is what the purpose is. I repeating words.. Nvm. She firstly injected once on both side, later once it has start to working, she injected once again.
She extracted my premolar on the bottom, right side first continued with the above. She explained to me that I will feel some kind of movement, like my teeth is literally being pulled out, but insya Allah there will be no pain. She jokingly asked my brother if he'd like to do, but of course no. My Abang was way more nervous than I was!! Ummi was nervous too. :P Alhamdulillah I was able to keep myself calm.. Or at least to look calm. Hahhahah
My teeth was extracted on around 6 PM, once it (I forgot the word, sorry) is injected, you'll started to feel numb. Do you know what "numb" is? I didn't, and now I know. It felt like the whole part of my right side of mouth is swollen, and when you touch it, you can't feel it.
The moment my tooth is extracted, is almost similar to when you're pulling out a grass. Yes. I heard or feel, maybe a sound. I think so. A sound like something really tiny is tear off. Kind of........
Once I go home, around 8 PM, I started to feel the pain. Just a minor pain, really. Or maybe I thought it was pain, but I ate two paracetamol I was given. Somehow I couldn't swallow my saliva so it kept drooling off.. LOL right after I performed my isya' prayer, I fell asleep.
In the morning I woke up, it was all fine! Ummi said I didn't even realized she changed the gauze last night. I slept with gauze.. Hohohoho
I had frozen yoghurt for my breakfast, which Abang bought last night. It was healed and no pain at all, but I was scared to eat anything so I only had a pudding and chocolate milk. And I'm really hungry while I'm writing this. Huh! But really, overall, it was no pain at all! I enjoyed it cause I love every first-time. It wasn't a bad experience at all and I would be less nervous to extract my another two teeth later.
Since I'm qualified to give advice on facing this phase of extracting tooth, this is my most important advice : shut your eyes. And istighfar, salawat, recite whatever that will keep you calm, whatever your religion taught and be confident. If you're an atheist.. Never mind sing then. :D Cause I read that the teeth is easier to be extracted when you're calm. Alhamdulillah, I am really grateful that Allah has remained my faith and not to allow any doubt in what I was doing.
On the other hand, I would say Dr Siti Fauzian was really kind and helpful. It helped a lot psychologically, what's more when it comes to people like me! I'm not scared of dentists since I've never had any bad experience and my parents never scared me with dentist and stuffs.. Alhamdulillah.
Not to forget, the clinic is super cute! They're all in pink, the chairs, the interior is better than some boutiques I would say. No I'm not exaggerating. Read people saying the price is reasonable as well.. Located at Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, here's the Facebook Page.
