STAY 1 METER AWAY FROM ME!

Saturday, May 16, 2020
I had the shock of my life when a man yelled at me recently.

As you can probably tell from my writings, I consider myself a law abiding citizen. Be it civil law, medical, (working hard on) syariah too. Haha I'm proud of it.

I obey to all rules regulated by the government during COVID-19 pandemic. At least, for this post.

What did I do to get yelled at!?
Last Tuesday I went to pharmacy with my father so he does not have to go. He just pay. Haha. Anyway, durin this time Malaysia has allowed two people to drive in a car. We agreed to restrict as much as we can for our parents to go outside. My mother has not gone out other than her work and she's happy about it.

As I entered the pharmacy, I roughly had the list of what to purchase in my mind. As I strolled around peacefully looking for the stuffs, I encountered this man.

"You stay away from me! Let me leave so you can come to this shelf! Stay 1m away!"

What on Earth even..? Okay, I understand some of us react in such a way, it's fine.

What bothered me was he kept screaming like that the whole time in the pharmacy! Mind you, the pharmacy limits how many people can enter and there is lines everywhere to guide us how we should distance ourselves. The staffs are cooperative to monitor people don't stay close too.

We were in a safe distance.

What's the unnecessary panic for? We are all in distress, anxious, I know, but we don't need to add into that unnecessarily right?

Going to my main point, if you are worried for some reason, be it either ;
1. Aged more than 60 years old
2. Has underlying disease
3. Immunocompromised (cancer, etc)

You can ask help to minimise your contact with people, my dear. This apply to our parents too no matter how healthy they or we are. Here's a suggestions of what we can do :
1. Buy it online, or
2. Ask from your family, or
3. Give the list to the store staffs and let them get for you, all you need to do is pay at the counter. Wait outside the store. Just how it works in supermarket for senior citizen.

I'm sure they are more than willing to help rather than hearing the scream every 1 minute. Haha

And to children.. Allahu. It's just my opinion, but I really think you need to sit back and think if your parents still go out and by groceries if you have a driving license. I even heard some children get their parents to send them to work. During this pandemic, really?

You can't stand lining up at the cashier, really?
You don't know how to choose vegetables, really?
It's easier for parents to go so they can get the senior's fast lane, really?

If you are sure these reasons are worth enough putting your high risk parents in public, okay..

But my parents are healthy!

Here's something to ponder, a true story but I need to keep it confidential :

A bed ridden senior citizen at care center was infected. He has never even go out, obviously. None of the caregiver are positive too. Everyone is negative. It's just, on further tracing, one of the caregiver did go to one of the red zone. The caregiver is negative.

Being bored : Tadabbur alam

Sunday, May 15, 2016

It's ok to be bored sometimes. To not-to have a phone or ipad with you all the time. Having nothing to do gives you space to think an observe things around you. Especially kids. They deserve to have the boring time. Let them have it. Only when they don't have an ipad to play 24/7, they will use their wits to create things to play.

With money and the brain of youths, Getting an As or English ability is a piece of cake. Don't neglect Bahasa Melayu please. They will master English anyway at some point in their life once they start schooling. Let them have a fluent (in pronunciation, grammar) second language.

Just look at the world around us now, you can't secure much by just graduating as a doctor. That's what happen if we keep talking about worldly materials ; it's like coronary artery, there's no ending to it. Maybe now you want a Benz, BMW, or Audi. Once you have those, you'll want a Gallardo. The next thing you want is a private jet, then an island, finally a country, and then you die lol.

To sum up, let's grow up as how it is. Let sunnatullah do its job. It's normal to feel bored. It's normal to get a B sometimes. It's normal to be cheated. Nah I wrote this long time ago now I forgot how to end this. 😂 just put your phone down and look around you. Think. Talk to one another. Limit your private (anti social) time.

Sssshhh.. I need a watermark.. I know.. Shut up..

VIDEO : Tokyo Mosque Tour!

Saturday, January 09, 2016
1. Arabic Islamic Inst. in Tokyo2. Tokyo Camii Mosque
3. Assalaam Mosque (Okachimachi Mosque)

What do you live for?

Tuesday, November 24, 2015
Source : http://movie-house.net/

To summarize, this article describe about how the current society emphasize on "achieving your dream" rather than to live your current life to the fullest. Children are told to be skilled in something, be it knowledge or sports, as though happiness is when you are able to achieve that dream. The dream of getting a nice job, wealth, those are the happiness you should aim for in life. The writer is totally against that idea.

At the first place, we need to be clear with the definition of happiness. Some people think when they are able to obtain those materialistic goals, they are happy. Are they, really? If so, then why is the suicidal rate increase along with the progression of a country?

I'm thankful, alhamdulillah, to say that I was brought up to just do whatever I want. Haha. I never felt the force of doing something. As long as I do the best and doesn't go astray from the right path, I am free to do anything. I thought it was normal until I grew up and see the reality myself. I was the weird one, apparently.

I live in a city. I teach archery to kids during weekend. I am beyond pathetic to listen to their stories of how they dislike having to go to extra classes, from piano lesson to several tuition, not at the age of 16 but even 6 years old! SIX YEARS OLD. Going to a tuition. What for? To get a higher marks in stacking blocks? Haha

Probably because we tend to compare. We wanna compete, we wanna be the best among the rest. What for? To be out standing, so that people will look up to us. What for? So that we feel great.. What for? How the hell should I know!! LOL it's always the competition, from school, in Malaysia we have a system of ranking from primary school which I totally disagree.

Who do you live your life for? If you're hurt or unhappy, who would feel the pain? It's you. Yes if you're great among the others, get all the certificates in everything, from economics, engineering, medicine, you're the genius one, but remember, there will always be someone better than you. Trust me. You may feel great now among your comfort zone, but once you're excluded from there, there will always be someone better than you. That's the nature of human. We don't easily be satisfied with something, we want to improve, it's yourself that need to control towards the right path.

Back to the story of kids who told me about how they dislike to attend all the classes. Some of the parents would ask me, "would my kids able to get medals?". I really don't know. I only teach them to have fun with whatever they do LOL. Sometimes we're stuck in a situation where we just had to accept it, so we had to look at it from different perspective and enjoy your life.

BUT if you have an option, why would you sacrifice now (which is the only period of time you are guaranteed to breath) for the future which you are not even sure of! Why? You may be the best. You may. It's a bet. You can't be sure at all. Unlike now, you are the one who have the control.

Are you assured enough to say that "I am going to live  for another five years for sure! So after this 5 years of working like a mad, I will be the richest person in the world!". It's not wrong to have a goal, but make sure throughout your journey of reaching the goal, you are doing what is meaningful to you.
Not to just somehow be patient, lead a life of a living corpse, for the sake of the future you're not sure of.

I believe when we are going to leave this world has been determined. Our life is like an hour glass. Each moment passes is each moment closer to the end of our life. So, how would you like to spend your life? Trying hard to compete with others or just live a meaningful life for yourself. I just wanna be a human with values.

I encounter numerous living corpses everyday. Studying hard is all they do. Because they are taught to just focus on their goal, they turn into a self-centered person. All they know is they reach the goal, to get a flying colors of result. They can't respect, poor emotional/spiritual management skill, so once something hit them, they lose. They shatter like a glass.

You know what? God has created all the things around us for reasons. For you. We don't just belong in a concrete, chasing things like a hamster running on wheel for nothing. Once in a while we should step aside from the so-called "goal" and think. Are you happy? Look at the nature. No matter how much we destroy the Earth, it still turns into the same direction. I recently saw a murder of crows (Yes we call a group of crows "murder" hahaha) fighting for a piece of bread. Then I realized how much I was ungrateful in my life. T.T We don't feel any guilt of throwing a piece of bread away, and those crows are fighting among themselves to have that piece of bread!!

Sometimes it's us who don't realize so many blessings in our life because we refuse to! There are so many happiness, goals that have already achieved but you deny. The bless of breathing a fresh air, to get a hug, walk, sleep,. Do you realize how many people out there wish to get that? Seriously, take off that blind fold and learn to be grateful.

I wanna be the happiest person! Haha. I am happy with others' happiness. I learnt that if you wanna be happy, you have to give instead of get. We will never be satisfied with what we get, what we have, but if you teach yourself to give more, insya Allah you will be happy. And maybe that's my definition of happiness. Hopefully. Do remind me if I forget. Ciaoo

Differences of Quran and Hadith

Tuesday, October 06, 2015

While I was reading about how did the tabi'in (people who lived with Muhammad SAW, during his life and after his death), compiled hadiths and Quran, I began to wonder :
"what is the difference of Quran and Hadith?"
I know briefly from what I learnt in school, but I think I need a bit of research to assure myself and strengthen my faith. Sometimes we need those, right? Because we're a normal human being, sometimes our faith can be strong, sometimes it gets weak. So there comes the use of knowledge to rescue us!

There are differences between Hadith and Quran. The Quran is :

1. The words of God
2. Revealed in Arabic
3. In Rhythmical form
4. To Prophet PBUH
5. Its' recitation is used in form of worship such as Solah
6. It's smallest chapter is a miracle in it of itself

Now there are two kinds of Hadith ;

1. Hadith Qudsi
2. Hadith Nabawi

Hadith Qudsi is :

1. The words of God in the words of Prophet PBUH
2. In Arabic
3. It is not used in forms of worship

Hadith Nabawi is :

1. The words of the Prophet PBUH
2. In Arabic
3. Gives us extra details about the forms of worship we are to do that is not in the Quran

There are six major collections or books of Hadiths ;

1. Sahih Bukhari, collected by Imam Bukhari
2. Sahih Muslim, collected by Muslim
3. Sunan An-Nasa'i, collected by An-Nasa'i
4. Sunan Abu Dawood, collected by Abu Dawood
5. Jami al-Tirmidhi, collected by al-Tirmidhi
6. Sunan Ibn Majah, collected by Ibn Majah

Okay.. That's the brief explanation of hadith. Alhamdulillah my belief in Quran and Hadith is can't be doubt but I know there is something that I missed! Why are there different forms of Hadiths? Ohhh brain, come on, recall! At the first place I still can't get what really is the different of Quran and Hadith, in a simple understanding for me to strongly hold on to.

I can answer like in exams, list out differences of Quran and Hadith but if someone asks me to explain in a simple words, danggg. I can't. Clever me! (The words you use is a du'a, never say you're a fool hahaha :p)

Especially the parts of two types of hadith. Aaaa~ Seriously, what was it!?

The fundamental is very important for us to stack more and more things on top of it, and finally move towards the next stage right? Why why why and howw can I forget such basic.. T.T

Oh my Godd.. Now I realized how much left behind I am. Have been focusing on Dunyaa too much lately, I forgot to feed my soul. No wonder I get upset easily these days.. Huaaaa.. Thank you, alhamdulillah for showing me the pathway to find the guidance. Gonna bomber my friends with this later and come back!

Mari saya jelaskan supaya jadi terang. Pertamanya matematik itu sendiri adalah bahasa. Bahasa alam, bahasa dunia, bahasa universal.

Jadi, tuan-tuan jikalau hendak tahu mengapa subjek matematik anak-anak lemah, semaklah buku karangan bahasa Melayu mereka.

Konsep Tawakal - "Dah cukup dah belajar, tawakal je lah!"

Tuesday, May 19, 2015

Recently I heard a talk and realized how wrong was the concept we used to depended on! As what the definition given before, tawakal is to rely solely on Allah, when there is nothing else you could do anymore.

Talking about effort, the effort that we can always do that we forget is pray - doa. For example, until the day of releasing our results, there are many possibility that could happen. I sometimes accompany my aunt (who is a lecturer) to do works relating with marks, I noticed that there are some students who a lecturer just feel "sorry", "pity" (lol sorry I don't know how else I should describe hahahha), that we somehow tend to give a better marks. Ha! :O

Not everything can be done by machines. The only thing that can lead the hearts of our examiner is Allah, through doa. Yes, doa is the effort that we tend to forget, that we just sort of "tawakal" once we enter the exam hall.

Another thing is toward what we actually tawakal of :
Is it towards our effort, or Allah?

Kenapa kena tawakal?

To feel calm. To ensure that we have done our best. So that we won't blame anything else, even yourself, if things go beyond our expectation. Yes the writing today seems rushing, lack of explanation, I'm truly sorry but I just needed to leave it here before I forget, for my future reference. :D

Tak adil!

Sunday, January 11, 2015
Such a rebellious title, isn't it? Of course that's not from me, I no longer at the age of teen. Does that fact makes me no longer a teen? I guess no. You don't get it don't you.

Ever felt like life is unfair, or specifically, someone is being unfair to you? Feels like we're doing the same work but she gets all the praise. You've studies togethrr with your friend, almost equally gained te knowledge, but he gets a higher mark. Something like that.

Whenever you felt that way, ask yourself : from where does rezeki come from? Is it from Ali who gives is to your friend more, or some other power is giving - Allah?

It's our nature to appreciates more if what others have, or we tend to valuate things materialistically. We like to measure what we can see. We forget that rezeki isn't all about material, but can be in any form.

But most importantly, we think as though a particular person is the one giving us rezeki. Wrong.

Remind yourself, istighfar and get yourself together. That is the time for satan to wisper much worse things, convincing you that someone is being unfair till that point where you forget Allah is the One that has been providing rezeki for everyone equally.

The person isn't to be blamed. If something is meant to be yours, it will be. Even if it isn't, there are so many other things that we've been closing our eyes to. Our safety, our imaan, knowledge, or maybe He is saving those rezeki for us to enter His Heaven. You gotta have faith.

She is the one who deserves more to have the rezeki that has been determined by Allah.

To have faith, you have to train yourself. How? Istighfar & able to advise yourself before someone will. Notice your own mistakes because very few person will care you enough to rectify you. Throw away all the egos. Bye.

Masing-masing Allah dah bagi tanggungjawab, buat je lah.

Wednesday, October 22, 2014

Basically we can characterize people into two major groups ;
1. Leaders
2. Followers
Leaders

Leaders are those chosen by the follower. It's either by choice because of people who know them or simply because they have the aura. Those people that at the first sight, we somehow feel that he can be a good leader. I'm sure we've seen one of those, especially during any group activity among new friends.

In a society, leader is the one person at the center of followers who revolve around him. Leaders aren't necessary those who give orders only. We always mistaken anyone who gives order as leaders. The truth is it's just one of the way to lead. Some leaders can show example, give ideas, or maybe simply watch to make sure things go well. They aren't necessarily the laziest, and a cold-heart enough to say whatever they want, or just because they are confident, you chose them as a leader. I don't think it's as simple as that.

Allah dah ciptakan manusia mempunyai kemahiran masing-masing.

Followers

They are other than the leaders. That's it. Sadly, in our society, followers aren't being focused. They are treated as though those were not being chosen and they are not important, even the followers themselves think of them that way. That's why we see some of us refused to cooperate. Followers often mistakenly thinks that it is not their responsibility.

As a result, followers begin to doubt the leader. When something goes wrong, they stop trusting the leader, or worse blame the leader. Once you have put your trust in one leader, stick with it. That's your responsibility as a follower as well. Once you stop doing your responsibility, you are wrong. You should always support the leader as long as you know they're doing their job properly.

Bila pengikut sibuk pula nak buat tanggungjawab ketua, terus jadi kucar kacir.

Bila cakap macam ni memang semua tahu tu tak betul. Tengoklah realiti. Baru masuk universiti, nak bagi pendapat tentang ekonomi negara. Cakap pasal meteorologi lah, pasal "puting beliung" baru-baru ni, pasal kehilangan pesawat lah. Hasilnya? Hujan lebat sikit, "entah-entah kawasan kita nak ribut..". -_- Assignment dah siap ke dikk? Hahaha..

Conclusion

I didn't really wanna focus on the responsibility of a leader actually. It has been talked throughout of the time, and I'm very confident that the leaders in my society are doing their job properly. It's the responsibility as a follower that people easily forget or misunderstand. I hope that I can do both responsibilities well. Whatever we are, we should always do our best in everything we do, no matter how small we are. Do you know how big any virus can kill a human? It's too small you have to use a microscope.

Just how a small thing can worsen a condition, that's how easy a small thing can change the world into a better place as well. That's my belief. Before I end, here's one hadith :

Ever felt so sleepy in class?

Wednesday, October 15, 2014
Starting to getting used to the time table, environment, and the flow. Most importantly, I managed to remember the names of the lecturer, who has given the lecture, of course.

Apparently, it's been awhile since I felt so sleepy in class. I caught myself almost fell asleep several times. It was the class after lunch, and I didn't take a nap before zuhur. I grew that habit during foundation, even during holiday, now I can't seem to get over it. Hah!

The truth is I can just take a nap if I wanted to, because there's no specific class after zuhur. But I'm a bit hesitant because most of the new friends doesn't really know that I nap.. LOL I made myself sound so much like a baby.

But heyyy I heard that it's good for your health!

I noticed a nap for few minutes around zuhur really wakes me up for afternoon class, I feel refreshed! I guess I should nap again after this, despite of others.

When I'm sleepy, it's like I still awake but I'm not there. My mind is out of the place. The vision is there, so I try to imagine things to keep my eyes opened. Sometimes I write out an imaginary conversation I have in my head. For example, my mind is saying "ok", then somehow I write "ok" on the paper. Not only that, sometimes I find some alien writing on my paper too!

Worse, I don't realize my friend is talking to me. Hahahahh so sorry, everyone. I might only look awake and walking, but I'm actually sleeping!

Faham Soalan

Tuesday, September 23, 2014

Faham apa masalah sebenar, berkaitan apa. Kalau rasa macam tak faham, cuba komunikasi dua hala dengan bertanya, betul ke pemahaman tu.

Bila rasa dah faham, barulah cuba untuk menjawab.

Haha. Tak, saya faham, mungkin awak jenis yang bersungguh-sungguh, tapi cuba perhatikan sekeliling. Kawan kita faham tak? Dia nampak macam faham, atau nampak macam tertanya-tanya lagi? Kekekeke

Travelling - Mekkah and Madinah VS Paris, Tokyo

Thursday, September 18, 2014
Most of the building in Makkah & Madinah looks like this.
Sometimes it doesn't have to be those fancy places to have fun travelling.

For example, Makkah and Madinah. It's a holy place for Muslim, where a lot of historic and meaningful event has occur.

For your information, these two cities aren't grand, glorious at all compared to those Paris, or Tokyo. It's all sandy and dusty, citizen with totally different cultures.

Maybe that's why some of us prefer to spend the holiday to famous city than going there. *gulp*

But why most Muslim love going there?

I can bet at least 80% Muslim will say they love going there, some even want to spend the rest of their life over there!

Because travelling isn't equal to fancy place actually.

It's the experience.

Alhamdulillah, I went to Mekkah and Madinah early of this year and I swear it was the calmest place ever! I know very well how complete is it to stay at Japan. Everything is almost perfect but I know there is something missing back then when I think about it now.

What really makes travelling meaningful?

To me, there are two major factors :
1. Who we spend with
2. What we experience
 Who we spend with

Someone you're close with. Someone you can be yourself around. Someone you love. Simple. Du-uh. What I'm trying to say is, the people play the important role as well to make our travel fun and memorable! We get to exchange opinion, say whatever we want, thus making us truly understand each of the places' own value that we can apply in our daily life.

What we experience

Experience is very subjective isn't it. Some people say go on a jet, parachute, hot air balloon, skiing, as an experience. As though a boring, dull travel without any specific program = no experience. Ok I don't know how to put it in words..

You can't simply judge this is experience, this is not. When something didn't go as planned, like the service was horrible, you get terribly upset. The truth is you came there to travel, to experience, so just go along with it!

As a proof

As I have mentioned earlier, Mekkah and Madinah isn't that fancy, but to me, it was one of the best holiday I've ever had! (I want to make the best as during Hajj, aamiinn ya rabbal 'aalamiinn)

I spent my time with my family, the whole two weeks +. I eat, sleep, move around with my family 24/7. Yes we're very very close. They're the best people given from Allah to me. It was really fun. Nothing to worry, you don't have to act, do anything!!

Going to Mekkah and Madinah, the calmest place I've ever been to. I get to do what I could have done everyday because I'm free from any responsibilities. I don't have to think about class, works, and so on. I get to visit Prophet Muhammad SAW's maqam. I get to perform my umrah.

The experience I had has truly changed me. I realized how much I've wasted my time. For example, the few minutes to perform sunnah prayer before the five prayers isn't that hard to do, or read al-Quran. I learn from the citizen over there, relating on the rationality of Allah sending Prophet Muhammad SAW from Arab, try to assimilate in order to gain more understanding by wearing their clothes, niqab, spoke few words (......) and etc.

That's why.

Any places have their own different value we can learn. For example, when you go to Mekkah, you realize how much ibadah actually benefits us. While if you go to Japan, you learn how much you have to be strict in finding halal foods ; you can't just go to the store and grab some ice cream or bread, you have to read the ingredient.

You see? It's never the same. You can go to Kelantan ad Cameron Highland and insya Allah you will learn different things (as long as you are willing to learn). Leave home and learn, if possible. If you're a girl like me, juts stay with your father okay. Hee.

Grand, splendid travel is fun, yes. But don't let it bother you too much that you can't enjoy the moment once it goes against what you desire. It is okay. Travelling isn't all about spending the money. Collect your money, spend it wisely, so that you know how hard it is and you will appreciate the travelling more.

Why I'm saying this? Because I know and have seen so many people who have traveled around the world but they're nothing much different than those who never left their country. The wide vision they had is just literal, it didn't portray in their attitude. What a waste. They can only show the photos and list out places they visit. What have you learnt?

Especially in term of respect. If you've been to so many places, mixed around with various kind of people with different social background, you should know how important it is to respect. You don't pick people to respect. You should respect everyone.

You are a traveler everyday if you know how to teach yourself to accept different things and gain new experience together with moral values which you can apply to be a better person. Stop whining about how lucky others are for able to go around the world. It's their life and you're living on your own. At the first place, comparing yourself with others isn't that healthy anyway, right?

Sabar Ada Batas?

Saturday, September 13, 2014

Tu kalau sabar sesama manusia. Macam mana pula kalau ia berkaitan urusan rasmi?

Kalau kita sendiri dah letakkan tahap kesabaran kita, kita sendiri dah awal-awal bersaksi bahawa peribadi aku tak mulia, hanya Rasulullah boleh bersikap sedemikian, macam tu lah kita jadi.

Beauty.

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

According to oxford dictionary, the definition is as below :
Beauty : A combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight

What is a good-looking?

I never comprehended the idea of "good-looking", "pretty", "beautiful" just from a photo! I can't tell if someone is pretty or not without getting to know them. It might sounds cliche but that's the truth.

What is my standard of good looking.

Instead of good-looking, I prefer the word commercial. Nowadays, a commercial face for female is as below :
1. Fair, flawless skin complexion
2. Large eyes, full lips, cheek
3. Averagely tall and slim
If you've scored more in those criteria, you're probably considered as commercial to me! Or, to the society, beautiful. What I mean by commercial is that your face can be used to promote products, gain respect, attract people to listen to you, or as a role model. It's good actually if you know how to utilize it correctly.

However, everyone knows those can be achieved with an extra knowledge called make-up. Or at least, give the impression of looking taller and slim. We often hear people saying,
"You look like you have a fake eye lashes on!"
"Your make up is so pretty!"
Because that is what society believe to be pretty ; fake. Anything fake is beautiful. Haha don't deny..

Beauty on the inside.

Until recently, I thought the inside means you're kind, sincere those positive values. Apparently, it meant your internal organ is pretty as well. In other words, healthy. That's why those additional foods commercial would use the phrase "beauty from the inside". Am I lame or you too, thought the same way as I did?

Bikini vs Niqab: Do Both Control Women? Part 1

Thursday, July 17, 2014
Google
I recently watched a session discussing the topic above in Youtube, here's the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdb_KDG0CH8 I'm not putting it here because it's inappropriate.

I was attracted to the title because at a glance, I thought it was a debate. It was not. To conclude, she only praised how good bikini is and how bad niqab is. That's not a debate, that's just a video of a woman, talking about her opinion which was totally biased I must say.

I have my respect towards anyone, regardless their attire. I don't mind at all, I don't judge, I've never thought of them as any of those negative thoughts, NO! I understand they just wanna feel beautiful, just how I love being beautiful. We just have our own way and beautiful itself is subjective. That's why I kinda disagree with the lady in the video generalizing women who wear niqab.. So unfair and rude.. :/

If you don't want others to generalize hookers = bikini, don't generalize Muslims either! Only some of Muslim cover themselves because of those negative reason, just like how only few people who wear bikini just to look like a hooker. Am I right? Bikini is just a swim wear and niqab is just a fashion unusual to some of us, that's all, respect it!

What is a bikini?

Generally, it's a two piece swimming suit. In a simple word, it's a two piece woman underwear, made of fabric like lycra. Fabrics which won't make you heavy in water..

What is a niqab?

A niqab is commonly worn by Muslim women in Middle East, it covers the entire face, revealing only their eyes. It's a very thin, breathable piece of cloth. It is not an obligation for Muslim women. Muslim women are allowed to expose only their face and hands (from wrist to finger).

I'm not going to elaborate what she talks, here's my version of Bikini vs Niqab. ;)

Women wear what makes them feel beautiful.

Bikini : Yes, I can't disagree more. That's the truth. Only insecure women feels unconfident about showing their body. Nobody can deny the fact that women is naturally a beautiful creature. (LOL seriously, grow up!)

If so, why does some women cover up themselves when they go out? Before that, let me clarify the two types of  "covered up women" :
1. Because she is insecure about herself as I mentioned earlier
2. Simply because she wants to, only when she go out ; at home, they're the dancing queen!
3. Covered up only because it's obligation, she still wear out standing cloth
It's undeniable there are some of the 1 and 3 women among Muslim, but that's not limited among Muslims! They exists among any women around the world.

So I'm going to talk about the 2 women : because they want to cover up when they go out. These women are very confident about herself, she doesn't need to show her body to everyone, just so she can feel beautiful. No. She doesn't need those. Sounds silly?

How does Bikini makes women feel confident and beautiful? Because she is able to show her skin, walk with pride, and proves that she is not being ashamed of her body.

Remember that bragger we all abhor?

Saturday, April 26, 2014
www.factrange.com
When they went to theme park, they tell the whole class.

When they were invited to a famous person's party, they tell the whole class.

When they eat rare foods, they tell the whole class.

When their mums bought a new toys, they tell the whole class.

When their trillionth cousin is J.Lo, they tell the whole class.

Get the idea of what kind of person I am talking about? Basically those strange, weirdo, nettlesome kids who likes to brag about how awesome his life is! As if he's the only one living.. Nobody's going to admit that they are bragging, maybe they will just say or really intended to share, but! Don't tell me there is no sense of bragging at all. You must be an angel to have such a perfect imaan. Uhh astaghfirullah, I'm being suuzzon!

I just wanna say that be empathy towards your surrounding when you want to share something in social networking, where people will see things unwillingly.

You share delicious foods everyday, how can you be sure you will not upset even one person who couldn't afford that kind of dish? Oh, you can buy branded items, your boyfriend gave you a flower, so?

Moreover, nobody shares bad things they have done in social networking right? Because you know people will see. You only share good things. Because you know people will see - and judge you in a good way ; compliment.

"The less compliment you get, the better for you to take care of your imaan, your heart.".

Excuses like "I wanna share with my friends," is really lame. I'm living & grew in the same centuries as you (yes you my friends), I know exactly what's happening. If you really want to share, there are so many private mediums out there to avoid you from becoming a bragger.

This might sounds frivolous (petty, negligible) but come on, we are a Muslim. In my opinion, if what meaningless thing I'm doing will hurt one person, I won't do. It's unnecessary. Meaningless things like share photos, post silly status, those things that won't really affect your life even if you don't do it. Let's be considerate, even for that one stranger we don't know. They are from Allah as well, they were born as a Muslim as well.

MH370 : Neither an update, nor an opinion, just some lessons I've learnt. 8th March 2014.

Friday, March 28, 2014

Things happen for reasons. Whatever happens around us, it is our responsibility as an active khalifah to find out what is the reason and what you can learn from that. It's kinda what I believe in. Hehe.

Saturday, March 8
Flight takes off: Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 departs at 12:41 a.m.local time on Saturday, and is due to land in Beijing at 6:30 a.m. on the same day. The flight was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members. The passengers are of at least 12 different nationalities; all crew on-board are Malaysians.
Mysterious disappearance: The flight loses contact with air traffic controllers about an hour after taking off. The last-known position of the plane was 120 nautical miles off the east coast of the Malaysian town of Kota Bharu, Malaysia Airlines chief executive Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said. The aircraft was flying in good weather conditions and disappeared without warning or a distress signal.
Monday, March 24
Confirmation of flight's fate:Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak says fresh analysis of satellite data tracking MH370 shows the flight ended its journey with passengers and crew members in the southern Indian Ocean, west of Perth - a remote location, far from any possible landing sites.

1. Respect everyone.
When the news came out, most of us came out with their own theories, worse, make fun of it! I've even seen people compare with movies they've seen. Words like "how can it just disappeared? Blackhole?". It's really stupid. If you were one of the relatives of the passenger, would you say it? The news was "missing", as long as the status is "missing", everyone is still hoping (except you heartless people). Imagine if your sister hadn't contacted you for 8 hours, you'd get upset if people say she's been kidnapped right? Just wait for update. She might be sleeping over her friends house, lost her phone, etc, isn't it? So stop being a Detective Conan!

2. Hold responsibility bravely.
For example, I refer to these three people :
a) Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein (Menteri Pertahanan)
b) Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman (Ketua Pengarah DCA)
c) En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (CEO MAS)
They answered to every questions and criticism so professionally during the conference. Reminded me of Rasulullah who always spoke nicely, especially towards people with lack of knowledge. I think people who kept on saying bad things about these people who stood out when the rest of the world are saying otherwise, are just blind. Haha. Something is really bad with your heart, you should get a treatment.

3. Don't make up things just to gain respect.
I noticed one of the sickness in our culture is that everyone is kind of self-conscious, insecure. That's not really the right word but heyy.. We all are so desperate to be respected, to be seen intelligent, that we are willing to do anything! Come out with our own theories, to the extend of causing some chaos, just because nobody wants to lower down the ego. Like a duck and a chicken quarreling about how a cat meow. Huh

Relax, just wait for any update from the conference. Unless you've flown your own jet and went to the scene. Or have decades of experience in aeronautical field. If not, just wait. That doesn't make you less-intelligent at all, it's just we're living in a society, every one of us are intelligent in our own field. You'd ask mother if you lost something instead of father, right? Because you know mother always know where to find, does it make your father less-intelligent? No, right?

4. Trust those working on the scene.
The latest nincompoop thing I hear is "how can it took so long to capture the satellite image?". Pfftt. That's why I always say to my friends not believe what you see on tv, movies, they're just our fantasy. Keep your feet on the ground and ask the people with knowledge of that particular topics. Simple analogy : you don't ask Mathematics problem to Biology teacher right?

I read a Chinese article saying that it takes 3 days, almost 72 hours (yes they work 24 hours!!) just to analyse any satellite image! Even if I didn't read it, just work your brain, have you ever seen the satellite image from google? It's the data of several days, months, ago! If a satellite image can be seen like you use a telescope, how can the data on google image takes so long to update, right?

So stop ruining our own nations by discussing with your friends how lazy Malaysian army, leaders, are! They are the one who wants the problem to be solved as soon as possible. They have to work days and nights, through the storms, you know how harsh the whether is? Not going home, missing their families, families worried about the safety of those searching, you ever thought of this?

Where are All the Developed-Minded People We See on Facebook?

Tuesday, March 04, 2014
I've been seeing youngsters nowadays discuss about what Malaysia can imitate from other developed countries in order to be one of the countries.

For example, the cleanliness, the punctuality of public transports, the discipline, and I saw many youngsters nowadays come out with their own suggestions to achieve it.

Only suggestions. suggestion which I think just another synonym for who to blame.

During debate, everyone can sort of give out example on how advanced other countries are, and that our country should be like that.

Suggestions which require others to do it, for instance,

1. Menteri patut titik beratkan ketepatan masa pengangkutan awam.
2. Tingkatkan efisien pekerja kebersihan
3. Pulihkan sebarang vendalisma
4. Pemimpin yang bla bla bla
5. Polis yang bla bla bla

(Fuyoohhh)

suggestion is nothing without a khalifah to move and start it.

If a train is punctual, is it the train or the driver who is punctual?
If a road is dirty, is it because the lazy cleaner or we're the one who's messing the public like we own the place?
How come is it okay to write a little ♥ shape on school's desk but a large paint on building is wrong? Yeah just the size you clever thing!! -_-

Probably our main problem is because we like to wait for things to happen.

"Oh, I'm just gonna throw away this small candy's rubbish, it's nothing anyway,"
"It's okayyy the cleaner is there to clean it,"
"Just a little late to class won't harm anyone, we paid to attend this class,"

Is it okay to share photos of Muslim actress exposing their aurat ?

Thursday, January 30, 2014

Some say it's for "lesson" for others, yes, it is, there are times we are allowed to talk about others' bad behavior.

The problem is, how many of us would take it as a lesson when you obviously showing the face of the person?

If yes, when you see them, you say astaghfirullah, then good.

But instead I found many of us will say things like,

"She's terrible!", "this is too much,", "what were she thinking?", "she doesn't respect Islam,", "she's insulting our religion,". She's this, she's that, who are you to talk about her? Even God never talked about you like that to anyone (for the time being, at least!).

The solution? Share things like this among people with good intention like you. People who would pray for her, people who would think of her as their own sister and try to find a solution.

Not simply with anyone, in this social media.

If it's really necessary to show these kind of attire to let people know what's happening in our society, I think that's wrong. It's like you're supporting the current drama ideas of showing murder, free sex, drugs, to be shown in public. They act with such indecent way, repent, and done.

And one more thing, if you say you're sharing it for the sake of "lesson", why didn't you share the sexy photos of our actress who has repented, but now wearing properly according to Islam?

Isn't it a discrimination when you think it is okay to share bad behavior of bad people as a lesson, but it is wrong to share bad behavior of a nice people? Since just now you said they were only for lesson ; it can be shown from anyone right?

Dreams Come True

Sunday, December 08, 2013

I've been reading Bobo's Sket Dance comics lately. He's been using my credit card to purchase them online from Kinokuniya, since he wants to read em in the original language, Japanese. All of the kanji has hiragana written on it because the target readers consist of wide range of age (I suppose).

There are so many lessons I gained from the comics, so I'm going to share from the recent one that I read.

Dreams come true.

One of the most cliche, yet hard-to-believe quotes.

"Dreams are not easy, that's why they shine so bright" - FUNKY MONKEY BABYS

If it's easy, then we won't call it a dream that we are chasing for.

It's hard, we're gonna have to face so many obstacles, (that's what I think) and there's only two ways on how people will react :

1. Hate it
2. Love it

If it is our dream truly, we won't feel hate or loathe towards anything that go against our dreams! What people think, the time we may consume, won't bother anymore. Because after all, it's the journey towards our dream that value most. It it indeed difficult, no one can guarantee that we can achieve our dream, but so long as we are happy chasing our dreams, then I consider it as Dreams Come True.

To my society I currently live in, these kinda things might sound unrealistic, silly, but I don't mind. I'm a person with strong belief and to me, it's our intention (niat) that matters, because only He determines the result.
