For future reference, I want to list out my oath for upcoming five years.
Be the best
Do my best in everything I do. I believe once we become the best that we can be, we'll be the best among the rest because Allah has created us all the same, we are the one who mold ourselves. On top of that, we're the one who set up the degree of the best, right? So I want to graduate becoming the best, insya Allah.
Put Allah first, followed by parents and family
The title says it all. Allah has granted my prayers, thus I want to always remind myself about the focus in my life. Nothing can come in my way. Pray. If possible, never miss Dhuha prayer.
We only plan and Allah decides the rest. Few years back then, I never thought I will step my foot into where I am now. I was skeptical over a private college, even though it's one of the best medical school in Malaysia. Heard rumors about how poor behave the students are, those enter there is just because they're rich but not that intelligent. I don't deny that. It wasn't easy at first, mentally and physically. I got a headache for the first few weeks, trying to adapt. Haha
However, I know it's not the place that makes someone a person. It's the person, themselves. Yes, an idiot will graduate with just the same certificate of those who worked hard. But in the end, what's really matter? The certificate or the person of the name on the certificate?
We're sharing the air together, we will be socialized, others will judge whether you are good or not. If you're good, they will keep you. If you're not, even cats won't get near to you. You need people.
Nonetheless, it's no more your effort. You can't decide what's going to happen in your life. You can work really hard, qualified enough to get what you want, but Allah will still gives the best for you, simply because you don't know what's really the best for you.
Just do what you can do. Don't bother about other's part. Don't try to be God.
Be happy.
Do you think it's fair that only those who studies in overseas will be look up to, congratulated, and all? Just say that you're studying at (put any glamorous countries), people won't judge. Unlike those who study locally. T.T it wasn't easy either for us. It's not like we're paying, some of us get the scholarships, but just because we say we're studying locally, in private university, boommm get that under-estimating look.
Only people who don't know you will judge. Those who know you well won't even need to judge you because they already know who you truly are. So.. Why bother about those who don't know you? They don't matter anyway!
It is okay, it's not their fault, it's the society, we're the one who created it. We're the one who responsible, so we're the one who can make things right too.
By proving.
Prove that you can be much better than who seems to be good.
Because place doesn't matter! It's you!
Insya Allah, I will share more about how I managed to enter the International Medical School (IMS), Malaysia. It's under Management and Science University (MSU) actually. Good night!
Good luck Rara! See you in 2019! ;)
