That was the phrase I learnt from Syafiq when i was in Standard Six. I was a total English dumb, I don't understand English at all on that time, so I looked up in a dictionary what "tight" means. At the bottom part of the meaning, there was an explanation on the meaning of the phrase of "sleep tight". Oh.. Now I know. We loved to sent good night SMS, like every night. Cute, huh? How I miss him! He's staying literally around the corner of my house but I'm too shy to see him! LOL.
Never mind, that's the story of Syafiq.
When I was in Standard Six, the languages I had to learn was a total alien to me. Malay, English, and Arabic! My parents sent my brother and I to an Islamic private school. During my first day, there was a boy from Australia who has just came back to Malaysia too. At least he could speak in English, while I.. Tried hard to use the Malay words I have at most. Haha.
During my first English period at school, we are asked to write and essay for homework. So I turned to my friend beside me and asked, "Essay tu apa?,". That girl had quite a hard time to explain.. -____- and what's more, since it was MONDAY, I read it as "MONDAI". Which means, "question" in Japanese. Haha!!
