Welcome back to Islam! - Dr. Zakir Naik's Talk in Japan

By Rara - Wednesday, November 11, 2015

Ever had someone close to you find / reverted to any religion?
I shared with my Japanese Muslim Friend A about Dr Zakir Naik's talk in Tokyo. So he went there with Friend B who wasn't a Muslim.
And then Last two nights I received a text from friend A about Friend B becoming a Muslim, but I kinda "ignored" the text because I was tired and the line was terrible in Janda Baik where I spent last weekend. Haha
Until last night I reread the text, saw the photos, talked to him, watched the video with my own eyes!! He recited the syahadah using the mic in front of thousands of audience after asking few questions.
Watching the video made my heart beat like a drum, I get nervous and bursted into tears. (I even get shaky to ask questions in public and you just..! LOL)
We've heard stories about muallaf all the time, we came across with friends who don't believe in God, make fun of religion, but what do we do? What do we feel about them? Nothing. Maybe cause we are not concern enough to let them see what we could, by having the religion with us.
It's either :
1. We're a stingy human being
2. We can't see the beauty of our religion
It's not about any specific religion or what, to get the chance to believe in God and there is a life hereafter is the most priceless blessing we could ever get in my opinion.
What's more living in Malaysia. We have three main religions with the followers living peacefully! There's no such a place like Malaysia to me. We get to feed our soul almost everyday, from the lecturers, friends, through the radios, tvs, Facebook, we get all these kinds of words/motivations all the time.
Unlike them. Even the word "religion" is a taboo, what's more mention about God, paradise?
What I'm trying to convey is - appreciate that. Appreciate by not taking your religion lightly. Seek knowledge about your religion, gain more comprehending and apply it in your life so that you could spread the beauty to others as well! Always remember that the main thing is to believe in God and the rest will come along later insya Allah
