Too many professor from University of Facebook these days.
About somebody, refer the person. About disease or cure, refer doctors. About animal, refer vet. About financial, refer economist. About price, refer the government sector in charge. About view from religion about anything, ask ulama. About diet, refer dietitian. About camera, refer a photographer. About scholarships, refer MARA, JPA, bla bla bla..
AND only deliver what you REALLY know to others. Not what you have changed to suit your opinion. Tell them what exactly is the fact that you know, and what are your opinion about it. Which is fact, and which is opinion. Make sure your audience know to differ, so that they can think rationally!
To make it simple, you don't ask about Biology to your Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah teacher, right? Yes, Biology teacher can relate Allah's creature to know more about Him. && PSI (omg I read PSY -_- ) teacher can relate to the importance of Science and Islam, but still.. You don't ask the process of glycolysis to PSI teacher right.. And you don't ask what is the hukum to shake hands with someone old to Biology teacher.. Get what I mean?
Sabda Rasulullah SAW :
"Ilmu itu seperti gudang dan kuncinya adalah bertanya. Maka hendaklah kamu sering bertanya semoga kamu diberikan rahmat oleh Allah Taala. Maka sesungguhnya dari satu pertanyaan itu diberikan pahala akan empat orang. Pertamanya orang yang bertanya. Keduanya guru yang menjawab. Ketiganya orang yang mendengar jawapan itu. Keempatnya orang yang cinta kepada mereka,"
(Riwayat Abu Nuaim)
The *worst* person to refer is, people who is good at talking. (Me, especially. I can talk for hours sometime, but like I always said, it's in my opinion, a kiddo who knows nothing but manipulate! Oh so perasan. Nobody refers to you, girl..)
Or just because they're good in English, you think they are reliable. Not at all. I'm like one of those loser who can't really explain in Malay, yep a loser. Just because you really adore somebody in any particular sector, that doesn't make them a perfect person. It's their opinion, it ends there, it's just to make your view wider. Refer the right person. Huh
That's why learning is a fardhu kifayah. It's not easy for one person to know everything in deep.
Last but not least, the only best person ever lived on Earth for you to "refer" is, Rasulullah. Always remind ourselves to refer back to Rasulullah. Did He talk like this? Did He eat like this? Did He teach us to wear like this? Not your teacher, or your uncle, or your favorite singer, bla bla bla. Right thing is always right, wrong thing is always wrong, no matter what the situation is.
