That's very harsh.. :/ Once I found a saying by a sahabat I think, really not sure if it's a hadis or what, but it says,
"To a mukmin, show how awful is the Hell, but to a fasik (I meant someone who isn't really religious. Is that the right word?), show the beauty of Heaven,"And please don't give us the look towards a criminal.
It's not easy to change, to covering the aurah and so on, and now you're terrifying us with Hell fire and all? :( Some of us don't even really believe in Hereafter, now what's the point? If you're only talking among yourselves, again, what's the point? We want to spread the teaching Rasulullah has brought us to, right. Remember how nice He was towards everyone? People who literally threw shit, the kafir lady who's been mocking Him, remember how nice Rasulullah was when she got sick?
Shouldn't it be like, "Jom tutup aurat, kita ke syurga,". For jahil people like me. For people like me with lack of knowledge.
Hana Tajima! Yeah she wear scarves like that, but she isn't wearing tight clothing as we do. She tried her best no matter what her surroundings look at her as. She may not be able to wear scarves that literally covers below chest, cause it might be too obvious, but she still try by wearing rather loose clothing. Unlike some of us, from a family who covers their aurah properly, living in a Malay community, yet still want to wear like.. The situation is different. See it? Allah gives different test for each one of us.
My point is, it's not as easy as you are for other people. If you think you can cover your aurah properly, then you should be grateful. Thankful to Allah. It's not because you're good enough, it's because Allah has chosen you. It could be a test. A test, by being able to cover your aurah properly, can you really act like a "Muslim"? By covering your aurah, can you show people who don't even care what Islam is, at least bother a little?
